Otters
We have had regular visits of otters in the Figgate Burn and Pond since the end of 2015. There are days when they seem quite happy to frolic around in full view of park visitors and other days when they remain elusive and secretive in the brambles and branches surrounding the pond. Having regular visits from otters is an excellent sign that the biodiversity in the park is rich and the water quality is very good and sustaining lots of food sources for these renowned predators to eat.
